Jimmie and his crew did an outstanding job installing the crawl space insulation in our home. They arrived on time, were very professional , courteous and took great pride in their work. The installation was done carefully and to a very high standard, and they left the work area clean when they finished. Jimmy was a pleasure to work with. His team were on time, friendly and did a great job installing new insulation in our crawl space. He showed up periodically to check on the work and brought his guys lunch. His pricing was very reasonable and guaranteed his work, too. We also experienced a plumbing issue and he had a plumber come out the same day. His plumber was also very responsive and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend J&L for any home improvement project.

Jimmy is simply fantastic. There isn’t a word that can capture how amazing he is. There’s a reason he has so many great reviews and five stars. He is incredibly knowledgeable-seemingly about every aspect of home building and repairs/remediation. He was walking through my home and we were talking about something very specific and he noticed an unrelated issue, looked at it very briefly,instantly figured out what the cause was (No one else had been able to figure it out ) and began to explain it to me. He is very humble quietly going about his work always giving praise to the people he brings in to help .Not only is he an expert at spotting and diagnosing problems, but is really good at explaining the problems and the ideal solutions, making everything very understandable. He told me he worked as a tactician in the army which meant that he was part of a group that designed camps where soldiers would go. They would go out to the spot & mark it guiding those who constructed the buildings, etc. That is essentially what he does now. He goes into a situation, assesses it, comes up with a plan, gets to work, but then calls in one of his crew who takes care of that part of the project. Every single member of the crew that I have met has been outstanding. Jessie , the HVAC person, is here now. He came to take a look at a very specific problem(mice who had eaten holes in ductwork) but he found so many issues with my HVAC system that had been there for a long time that no one else had identified-Issues of major significance. It is Friday at 7 o’clock and he stayed hoping to prevent a potential problem. Not only are they all skilled at their craft, but they are simply wonderful people just like Jimmy. They are all honest, hard-working people who love what they do and really enjoy helping people. Every time one of them stops by they leave me with a smile. I am so grateful for Jimmy and for his crew. The world needs more people like them!
