- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a price per serving system that encompasses all of the amenities you receive with my service. My cakes are priced at $5.75/serving and include a free consultation, most any cake design, free delivery within 20 miles, and a complimentary 6in cake on your one year anniversary. Only a few items require extra charges (i.e. fondant work, rental equipment)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to set up a consult/tasting with the client where we will discuss the details of their event. At this time they will receive a sample box of our cakes to take home. A deposit if required to reserve their date. Once the design is finalized contracts will be signed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always trying to learn new techniques for cake decorating. Whether its watching YouTube videos, taking classes online, or attending classes held by some of the best pastry chefs. I also attended culinary school for Baking and Pastry arts and have worked in the food and beverage industry for 12+ years!
