- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'd recommend a 15 minute virtual/phone consultation first to allow us to fully understand the request and determine which, if any, structural engineering services are needed prior to proceeding together. The fee for this would be $450/consultation (non refundable), which we would credit toward the total engineering service fee, if hired to complete the rest of the engineering work. Following the consultation, I will prepare a total price and scope of services in a contract for mutual signature/execution. The total project fee would be due prior to receiving any final reports or drawings.

I usually recommend a virtual/phone conversation first to build mutual familiarity/trust and understand their request and need efficiently. From here, we can plan next steps together interactively such that we optimize time and project cost.
