I feel very fortunate to have come across Monica Stevenson. Her level of talent and creativity is what initially caught my eye. Her cross section of experience and expertise coupled with her ability to work with smaller caliper businesses and products was very intriguing to me. I've worked with some lovely photographers in my career but this experience with Monica was different. Her lighting ability is unmatched. Her sincere interest in making our inexpensive product look fantastic was refreshing. Her work ethic is unparalleled. She takes pride in what she does and it shows. She doesn't just shoot, she gives you input that only makes the project that much easier. She is warm, funny and genuinely interested in you, your product and what you need to accomplish. She's on time, on budget and the communication level is top notch. A high end NY photographer who can work with the most exclusive and highly creative products or situations but is so down to earth and genuine that she can assess your small endeavor and use all the same skill and creativity on a budget. Will be using her for all of our company work and would recommend her to anyone!

I needed colored, silver-leafed highly reflective glass photographed, definitely a photographic challenge which Monica handled beautifully. I always felt comfortable talking with her on the phone and working with her. She enjojoyed the challenge and allowed me to be with her in her studio while she set up the shots and did the photography and she welcomed feedback. In short, a pleasure to work with her and the results exceeded my expectations.

Corporate Videography
We hired Monica to film workers in one of our manufacturing plants for a promotional campaign. We were very pleased with the camera work and nothing but positive feedback from management that was on the floor during all of the filming. Happy to recommend Monica for projects and would hire her again.
Oct 2, 2017VerifiedMonica Stevenson Photography/Motion's replyThank you Matt. This was such an interesting job—my crew and I were fascinated by all the tools and processes. There were so many great things to shoot and the employees so friendly and cooperative. Would love to work with you again if you need us.

Video Production
Where do I even begin? Monica was an absolute dream to work with. She walked me through the production process from start to finish and made sure the end product was EXACTLY what I wanted. She went above and beyond by helping me find the perfect location and even helped me connect with someone to print my final DVD's. I seriously couldn't have imagined shooting my first fitness DVD with anyone else!! I hope to use her again in the very near future for my next project! If you are looking for a videographer to take your project to the next level and make it look like a million bucks, Monica is the artist for you!!

FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? No, there is no "standard". I am a competitively priced photographer/videographer, and always aware of what the services we provide for our clients are worth. Every job is completely different--the variations are endless. For the price that you will pay for my studio and me, you will get an extremely high quality product, and a willing attitude. I will do my best effort to meet your budgetary needs. Just like in every business, "you get what you pay for", and I pride myself in giving an extremely well crafted service to my clients. If this costs just a little bit more, it is worth it tenfold!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I prefer, more than anything, to be able to either talk with new customers over the phone. And after that, a face-to-face meeting is extremely helpful for both parties. E-mail is so anonymous! Our business is a service one, and that chemistry communicates so much better in person. During the beginning stages of our relationship, I try to be very clear and transparent with my customers as to my working methods--what I will be doing, how much I will be charging, and how long the process will take. I enjoy the collaboration between customer and photographer/filmmaker.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Throughout the year, I take various workshops in new technology so that I am current and fresh. Lynda.com is a site I use to learn new techniques, such as familiarity with CGI, and how to use new film editing software. . I also learn A LOT from the freelancers whom I hire.
