About
I have more than a decade of experience providing creative, high quality graphic design services. Other than working one on one with clients, one of the things that sets me apart from other graphic designers is my ability to "respect reality." I know the struggles of finding excellent and creative design within a certain budget and time frame. With my competitive prices, attention to detail, and excellent customer service, I will strive to make what you envision come to life. Before I could even say the word LEGO, I enjoyed creating things with whatever was within my reach; it’s in my blood. I have also noticed that creativity has kind of been lacking in today’s culture. The reason for this is because there is a sneaking suspicion that in order to be creative, you must have had training or some type of exclusive gift. Surely, in my craft there is a knowledge needed for certain programs and design techniques, but I started my business in 2014 to show every client I work with that everyone can be creative. Whether it is making a logo, building a piece of IKEA furniture, or even making a sandwich, we can all create together!

We have used KB creative for lots of communication and publicity projects for graphic design and video. Asthetically the work is top shelf. KB understands unity for our branding and it shows in every design we have commissioned.

Kirk from KB Creative did a wonderful job on my project. He took my suggestions and really knocked it out of the box. Timely turnaround on small revisions/options. I definitely recommend KB Creative and plan to work with them on future projects. Thank you!

At Exodus Church, we care about our branding and the message our graphics communicate. Kirk has worked to understand our culture and use his considerable gifts to create graphics that are consistently good and hit the mark of excellence we hold. He can do the same for your organization.

I wanted a logo/profile pic and channel art created for my YouTube channel. Kirk did an amazing job and I couldn't be happier with the finished products that where made. So happy with them!

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I thoroughly discuss the project at hand with my clients from the beginning. I encourage the client to bring any samples, color combinations/swatches, and ideas they may have. I strive for the client to be involved every step of the way. During the design process, the client is asked to approve certain milestones before work continues. If I am printing the design project, I will submit a final proof for the customer’s approval before submitting to print. If approved, the design job will move into production. At the conclusion of a project, the client may request the artwork in various formats.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have taken many design classes while earning my Bachelors of Arts degree at North Greenville University. I also attend webinars online to learn new techniques and follow the latest trends. Also, most designers would agree to doing this as well, but I critique every design that I look at; it’s a curse that comes with the job. Although, it challenges me to create things better than our culture’s standards.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice is to ask questions when you have them. Many times, clients will either be too afraid, or even too nice because they don’t want to feel like a bother, that they will not ask questions on how things work or even give suggestions. I want to teach all of my clients anything I know so that, in the future, they will have a better understanding of what’s needed with whatever is set before them. Also, be sure that your chosen designer knows how to set up production ready files. I’ve found that many people claim to be graphic designers, but fail to know basic production rules.
