Paynter Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning is a business I started in 2016, but I have always had a knack for cleaning stubborn stains. I have researched and committed myself to being the best I can possibly be at cleaning carpets, rugs of all types, and upholstery. Since starting this business, I have had tremendous positive feedback, concerning my work ethic and my intent to always do my very best on each job, no matter the size. I am a retired law enforcement officer and former military veteran. Timely and dependable service is my guarantee. I will give you a more personal experience than a bigger company, and you will always be dealing directly with me.
I like interacting with customers and people in general. Making someone happy with a good result is always my goal, and I take pride in each and every job I commit to, treating it like I would my home.

Richard was quick to respond to our request for a quote. We hired him and had the cleaning scheduled for the following week. Our carpets look incredible. His work is detailed, and he let me know what he’d be doing where. We had putty embedded in the playroom carpet that others couldn’t get out and Richard was successful. I’d highly recommend him.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price jobs according to what I feel is fair market for my work. I do excellent work, and always try to give each customer their worth. I don't charge any special fees after agreeing on a price, unless the customer agrees at the time of service. Occasionally an adjustment is made, but never without full consent of the customer. Blind quoting is not an exact science.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to interact and prefer to greet them in person and go over their expectations as well as review the task at hand.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have cleaned carpets and rugs and upholstery all my adult life, although not professionally until 2016. I have a knack for stain and spot removal, and study new techniques daily. I have had training in customer service, and personal relations in the military and in my prior professional life in law enforcement. I also pressure wash, and do shrub trimming and removal. I have done various types of work for over thirty years while still employed full time.
