Jess was very helpful, from start to finish, with sharing her design experience and suggestions, and keeping a pragmatic approach to decor and design. I had a huge home project ahead of me without a clue on how to bring my ideas to life. She helped tremendously and was instrumental in making sure our design dreams come true. Highly recommend!

We worked with Jess to finish designing and decorating both our dining room and master bedroom. She was very quick to respond to my initial inquiry and was responsive and reliable throughout the whole project. She picked great, unique items! We love our new spaces! So incredible!! Even though I felt like our space needed a lot of work, she put me right at ease and showed me how some tiny changes could have a big impact.
Even before shopping for pieces to help pull it together, Jess did a little rearranging of some of our pieces and the rooms (main bedroom and office) felt immediately better!
Highly highly highly recommend and I can’t wait to have her back this summer for our new baby’s nursery.

We are over the moon ecstatic with the results of working with Smith Studio! We worked with her on our cabin which serves as both a short term rental and a personal giveaway.
Her process was straightforward- we sent her our goals, our budget, some of the challenges we knew we were going to face, and provided a few examples via a shared Pinterest board. From there, she was able to capture the essence of what we wanted while helping us source future and supplies that met our goals. This included durable furniture that could take a lot of activity and be easily cleaned.
We are not only in love with our space, but our guests often comment on how gorgeous the design is. Here's an example from one of our guests, "If you're like me, you might look at the listing and think it's *too* nice looking after experiences with Insta-worthy but dysfunctional airbnbs. But this a well thought-out and cared for, private cabin with wonderful beds, a perfect kitchen..." We have dozens more that share a similar sentiment.
We cannot wait to work with this designer again for a future space. You won't be disappointed working with Smith Studio!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge $100 an hour plus a 5% ordering fee on purchasing product.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start with a call or meeting to talk through your project needs, aesthetic and budget. From there we jump into space planning to land on a layout before designing and sourcing the furniture and decor for the space. Next we work through executing on the design by purchasing the selections and styling the space once everything is in your home.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All types! I'm open to smaller budgets and larger. I love working with a variety of styles.
