- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Consults range from $150 to $200, depending on the type and the need. We often offer discounts on retainers after we learn more about the potential client and their financial situation and legal needs. If you were referred to us by someone, please make sure to mention that during your initial contact with us so we can provide a discount on the consult.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As soon we know about you (either by you contacting us directly, or through a third party like Thumbtack, or because someone we know has referred you and given us your information), we contact you within 12-24 business hours (sometimes even sooner!). If you are interested and capable of electronic correspondence, we often reach out to you by email and even text for quickest contact. We also often work after hours and weekends.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been practicing 16 years, both out of court and in court. The State Bar requires attorneys to take at least 12 hours of CLE classes every single year, where we learn the latest updates in the law and other practical tips and education, in addition to our own actual experience with clients, cases, court, etc.
