I can remove viruses, upgrade your computer, install your home wireless network, replace broken laptop screens, configure your data backups, optimize the performance of your computer, and can train you on the proper use and care of your computer. I offer flat rates for repairs at my shop and hourly rates when working at your home. Customer love my work because I am patient and persistent. I don't stop working on a system until you are completely satisfied and fully understand the repairs!

I would like to tell everyone about my experience with big nerd home computer repair. I had a bad virus on my pc, it was called SCAREWARE!!. It caused my pc to crash and i lost my hard drive and my windows program. I was totally lost!!!! i was in a state of panic:(... i called friends, but they had no idea on how to fix my pc. then when i was going to work i saw a small sign next to the road, it said computer repair...i had to check it out!!! I met dave and i could tell right away that he knew what he was doing and could help me!! i brought him my tower and he called me later that day and told me that the virus caused my harddrive to crash...but he would try to save as much as he could. Well, he replaced my Hard drive with a similar one, installed a GREAT security system, and also educated me on what NOT TO DO!!! The price was VERY FAIR, and he has also come to my house to help me with some other things i needed set up. Big nerd home computer repair will always have my business and i HIGHLY recommend him to all my friends. Believe me people...YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!! Thank you very much Dave:)

David was great he came to my house picked up my laptop had it back to me in a few days good as new he did such a good job and pricing so reasonable I had him cleanup my other laptop as well He also worked on my desktop hard drive but could not ever get it to boot the drive was fried and he didnt even charge me

David Donaldson -- aka The Big Nerd -- was instrumental in moving us into the 21st Century. He came to our home to upgrade and protect my laptop. He taught my septugenarian husband how to use his first computer -- an iPad. We found David through his volunteer work at the Moore County Senior Center and will call on him again.

Anyone looking to hire a computer repair technician needs to ask about the steps that the tech will take to protect your data. Computers can be replaced, birthday photos and song collections can't be easily replaced but can be lost with one careless move. If your computer came with installation disks, you need to provide these to the tech or he may have to buy replacement disks for added cost. You need to know or have the software keys for any purchased software that is on the computer or you may end up re-purchasing that software.
