I have over 25 yrs exp in furniture refinishing, repair, painting, distressing, and modification. I have taken chests and turned them into blanket chests or wine cabinets. How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was an apprentice in an Antique shop that offered furniture restoration. I decided I would rather work in the back with my hands giving a piece of furniture new life than stay out front selling it.
