- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken a number of courses on writing and editing. In addition, I have taught legal research and writing at UNC, as well as working with students on their writing for over a decade. I also am adept with fiction and am part of several writing critique groups in the area.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure an editor is willing and able to understand your project from your point of view in light of your objectives. You don't want someone who treas every project from a purely textbook point of view.
