Introduction: I give practical steps to help students stay motivated in the lesson program, and am very patient as well. I tailor each lesson to the needs of the student since each person is unique. Also, I specialize in wedding proposals! I give personalized and professional service for weddings, with consultations included in my price, for prelude, ceremony and cocktail hour. Here's what I love: the smile on a student's face when they master a concept or feel the success they’ve achieved, also knowing I've helped to create excitement in learning the music we're working on. David was a great teacher! It was clear he had a great understanding and expertise in the fundamentals of the violin and absolutely knew how to build a person up from the ground up skill-set wise. He provided some great music which taught me well and I was able to excel quickly based on the music he provided and the lessons he taught me. He had a very pleasant demeanor and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone starting off new with the violin.

I have been taking violin lessons from David Berry for more than 3 years. Every lesson is a wonderful experience! David loves music and loves teaching and it shows. He is extremely smart and perceptive, and is always in tune with my interest and areas of needs for focus. Over the last a few month, we've also being able to make zoom lessons work! Feel fortunate that I found David through Thumbtack!

I started learning violin in the 2nd grade, and became excited to teach others in my 20's.

I have taught children as young as 5 and also some older adults. People who are eager to learn and I'm willing to adjust to their needs and preferences as appropriate.
