FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I always like to quote a fair price based on the individual circumstances for each job. Particularly for items like Furniture Assembly, I will always quote a discounted rate for multiple items. Fees, in general, are dependent on a number of factors, such as: is the client purchasing and picking up the materials; is there more than one service required; will there be demolition required and will the client be responsible for removal from the site; etc,
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If there is enough information in the request I like to reach out and offer a quote with an outline of what the quote will include/encompass. If there is not enough information I will either send a quote outlining what it would include/encompass and give a brief description of what could change that quote +/-, or send a request for more information so I can make a more accurate quote.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been doing Residential/Commercial Carpentry and Handyman services for over 20 years off and on, and I currently purchase properties to rehab and sell/rent. I am OSHA 10 certified, and I am preparing to take the General Contractor's exam.
