I came to Kristen over a year ago after having bariatic surgery and needed to work on my core strength etc. My muscle was disappearing and needed to be rebuilt. Kristen worked with me to build up my upper body strength and was not pushy but pushed me to do more than I "said" I could do. She shared nutrition information with me, learned more about my surgery and didn't push anything on me to use. I wish I could still work with her but job schedule and finances prevent that, but as soon as my finances are back ...she is my first call! I miss going to her and the training she gave me. She is definitely a hidden gem in the fitness world and will work with you where you are at today and where you want to be.

I’m not an extremely heavy guy, but I wanted to get in better shape physically. So, I contacted Paul along with several other potential trainers via some ads I saw. What I initially liked the best about Paul was that he was flexible, was able to come to my house, and was able to work with the equipment that I already had (and it’s not much). It can be a little intimidating going to a gym with all the other folks that have been working out for years, so I appreciated that he could set up a program for me with what I have. I started working with Paul a little over a month ago. I can feel the changes in the workout routine since we started. They are getting harder as I am getting stronger and building endurance. I routinely find myself saying “I’m not going to be able to do that”, yet continue surprising myself with what I can do. I can see the definition building in my shoulders and arms. And I can feel the increased strength in my back, legs and core. I selected 3 days a week for an hour and Paul has been flexible with my schedule when I need to go on a business trip. He has changed up the workout to fit consecutive days and not completely wear out my body when needed. He is also extremely punctual. I find that he will get there at exactly the right time every single appointment. He has never been late or a no-show. He only had to reschedule once, but he gave me a full day notice, sent the workout routine to me ahead of time and gave me the next session free of charge to make up for it. We’ve also talked about an upcoming trip to Jamaica for my sister’s wedding next year. He said he’ll work up a specific regimen to get me looking great for that trip. I’m excited about that. The best thing about working with Paul is he is very easy-going and hasn’t made me feel inferior at all, even though he is in better shape than I am. I am glad that he is helping me get into better shape.
