We just bought our first home through Matt and we are so grateful for his guidance and support! He was incredibly flexible with our schedule to fit in lots of house tours (midday, evenings, weekends), never rushed us, talked through everything, got to know our priorities and what we were looking for, called potential sellers in the neighborhoods we were interested in, guided us through the offer/negotiation/closing period (including continuing to tour houses for "inspiration" because we want to do renovations on the house we closed on), had specialists on hand to recommend to us (inspector, structural engineer, lawyers, etc), found the contractors that had worked on other houses in our neighborhood, and so on and so forth. He was incredibly knowledgeable when touring houses (helping us notice all the details about materials, plumbing, electric, signs of bugs, water damage, etc.), helped us weigh the pros and cons of all the different details, and went the extra mile to research and provide resources for things unique to our situation (for example, we bought a historic home, so he found all the documents and restrictions through the Historic Preservation Society). Matt was our warrior through the whole process! We were completely new to the home buying process and he was with us every step, providing information and guidance. We will be recommending him to all of our friends and colleagues!

I was very fortunate to have found Matthew as a realestateagent to work with buying a house. He was knowledgeable about the area he covers, as well as individual communities. He patiently helped me distinguishing between what I thought I might want versus which location and types of spaces ultimately felt comfortable for me. When it came down to deciding on making an offer, he went well beyond what was expected in thoroughly looking through the entire property to check for areas of concern, including the attic and crawl space, before starting on a contract. He then outlined various scenarios and considerations in structuring the offer in way that was beneficial to me as well as realistic for the seller. Once the offer was accepted, it was Matthew who provided information to me about the inspections and subsequently made contacts for estimated repairs. He always responded quickly to my questions and concerns, and genuinely wanted me to feel comfortable through the entire process.
