FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing model is what we consider to be fairly standard. We provide free estimates for service to our customers. We do charge a minimum service fee which covers our time and travel expenses, and then most jobs are charged based on a fixed amount. We do have some standardized pricing such as pricing for ceiling fan and light fixture installations, however our more complex projects, commercial and industrial jobs, generator installations, etc. are evaluated on a case-by-case basis since these jobs often vary from client to client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Most jobs start with an estimate. If you have job specifics and we are able to estimate the time and materials over the phone or through messaging, we can usually provide proposals remotely (like ceiling fan installs, lighting & switch upgrades, etc.) however we usually conduct a site visit to see what's going on, fix it onsite if we can, or build a proposal and schedule a time to return to complete the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are a licensed electrical contractor with the State of North Carolina. We have completed thousands of hours of pre-license and post-license training, including everything from continuing education, license coursework, trade updates, and professional trade training held at conferences and training sessions around the country. We believe a good contractor relies on their training but is always learning as well.
