John, thank you for reaching out to us. We truly value all of our clients and we make sure they are treated with respect. We are sorry we couldn't refund your money as per your request. 6 weeks passed since that last service and we were not notified of any issues when cleaner left the property. The cleaner also denied a $20 tip from the client as we do not accept tips no matter how well the job is done. It is our desire to leave costumers happy after the service is done, that is why we provide the client time to go over the work and check to see if anything was missed. The cleaner asked to please check the house and then she left. There were piles of pans in the kitchen and 90% of the dishes were fully washed even tho it was not agreed on upon estimate 3 weeks before the cleaning date, as a courtesy the cleaner washed and scrubbed it all. The cleaner was then adviced to insert pans and dishes into dishwasher, of which she did. However, we do NOT turn ANY appliances on, it is up to the client to turn them on. The dishwasher must've been turned on by someone inside the household. The cleaner stayed an additional hour finishing cleaning the kitchen, if the dishwasher was truly turned on by her it would've been noticed at the time or within minutes of her leaving. The costumer was very satisfied with the outcome and the cleaner at the time of services, sorry to hear it wasn't the case. Thumbtack was notified in full and I truly hope they can help you.
