I am a retired Pastor, and have been performing weddings for 30 years and absolutely love helping couples begin their new life together.
Before the wedding, we'll talk about your vision and what you want to focus on -- honoring your parents, honoring God, bringing in past life experiences, etc. My focus is on you and what you want to accomplish on your special day. Then I will review the vows and the ceremony with you to be sure everything flows together to the climax of you being introduced as a new couple.
My wife and I also have a beautiful venue to have your wedding at if you do not have one yet. It has a gazebo with breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge mountains and a gorgeous creek that flows down the entire 4 acres. It is in Hays 3 miles from Stone Mountain State Park in NC. Our experience with Reverend Blackmore began when we found that our already established officiant suddenly had a conflict with the time we agreed on. We found George through Thumbtack and he agreed to officiate our wedding on very short notice. As it turned out, our beautiful ceremony was just right for us! My pricing is dependent on the location, distance, and hours involved. I may not be the lowest quote you will get, but with my experience and platform skills, you will have a ceremony you will be proud of.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would speak with you by phone, Skype, or in person if you are close by, to get familiar with you, the location, the ceremony, the vows, and your goals for the wedding. I have developed wedding vows that many couples have used, and I would be glad to share them with you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an Ordained minister with a Masters degree In Church Administration and a minor in Speech, so I have a great platform presence. I have been performing weddings for over 30 years, and every couple has loved their ceremony.
