It was super refreshing to work with Matt. Once I spoke with him about digging a trench, I knew he was the right person for the job. He communicated very well and showed up promptly. He was very knowledgeable about the process of installing the drain he took great care not to damage anything. His skills were masterful on the mini excavator. I would definitely work with him again.

Matt at NCLand Works did a fantastic job. We had a challenging property that the last owners had made a mess of, and it was so overgrown it was hard to even tell the extent of the issues before we started. I had 3 different contractors/companies come out to the property, and his estimate was by far the most reasonable. He was also the most personable and trustworthy-seeming company, which was the primary reason I went with him. His communication was excellent, making sure we were on the same page the whole time. Even though the project was more involved than we first expected, he made sure we were happy with the results, and even did some extra to make it easier for me to access the property. I couldn't be more happy with the results, and will hire him again for any other projects that come up.

Matt actually ended up not doing the job, as once he saw the issue he knew of a very simple solution that I could easily implement myself. He knew it would not be cost effective for either of us for him to do it- the solution was not one I had considered and could be easily executed by me with a few off the self supplied from Home Depot. I greatly appreciate Matt's honesty and candor. If I have a larger grading and drainage job in the future, this will be my first call!

Matt was quick to respond to my request and very thorough. He took the time to look over the yard and explain his process. Price was reasonable. We had a very uneven yard due to tree removals by another company. Matt leveled the entire area as well as the rest of our yard. I’m very satisfied with the result and will hire again if I find another job in his wheelhouse.
