Get references if at all possible from prior customers and expect nothing other than prompt, honest, fair priced, quality service. Look for a prompt return response to your inquiry and expect your home maintenance professional to keep you posted as to his scheduling of your job, when to expect him, what to expect of him and to be able to answer any of your questions so that your job is well understood by both parties.
