- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Growing up I always was fascinated with pictures. I remember sitting on my moms lap going through albums, getting into trouble for getting the albums out when i was not supposed to, creating sideshows for Christmas presents, and buying more disposable cameras and one hour processing than I can count through my four years of high school. I couldnt wait to see what memories I had captured. When I went to Western Carolina, I joined Phi Mu Fraternity where I was the historian for 2 years and that was where my love for photography really became a passion. As I have gotten older and my friends have began to have children I realized how important all the little details are in the way we remember your little ones as they grow. After capturing countless images of my own family and friends (you will see them all through this website), I began to focus on cultivating my craft so that I could have the privilege of preserving all of those fleeting moments for other families. With the tremendous support of my husband, extended family, and close friends I have been able to pursue the fun and fulfilling pursuit of photography.
