I would give JFM Roofing 0 stars if I could. Had a small gutter install job consisting of 18 feet of 6” gutters, 1-10 foot and 1- 8 foot piece of gutter. We agreed to a price and scheduled a date to install. The only positive was they arrived on time…but with a damaged gutter which they had planned to install. I asked to see the gutters prior to install since the gutters were already run off and in/on the van. The 8’ piece of gutter was so extremely damaged on both the front and bottom of the gutter …scratched, gouged, dimpled with exception of maybe 1 foot . I told JFM Roofing this was unacceptable, considering it was going above the front entry door. I was told they would cut off a the bad section, which was impossible considering I needed 8 feet. They agreed to reschedule the job after I rejected the damaged gutter piece and said they would come with new gutter pieces to install. I then get a message letting me know that it would be an additional $45 for them to come back because of the “distance”. They wanted to charge me more, even though they were at fault for attempting to install damaged material. They are not local to Greenville and are based out of Hendersonville, NC…so If you do get an estimate be sure they are actually licensed and insured!

Hello, we’re really sorry you feel this way about us. At JFM Roofing our goal is to get our customers full satisfaction. The gutter that was mentioned to be “gauged, scratched and dimpled” was only scratched and for that there is touch up paint. Once she saw it and told us it wasn’t gonna cut it, without hesitation we respectfully accepted to not install it. We still hadn’t gotten down any of our tools nor materials at that time. We arrive and introduce ourselves to her and the homeowner(not her). She didn’t mention that we would have to cut off a few inches off the overhang of the shingle roof which wasn’t originally on the quote. That wasn’t mention until we arrive at the job site and expected it to be done at a no extra charge. When our project manager told her that it would be an extra charge. She demanded it to be done for free since she was supplying the gutter hangers which was up to her. Those additional $45 was not only for the “return and distance” like stated but for that reason as well. Extra work is an extra charge. To clarify there was no appointment set for us to come back, she was told she would be updated by the project manager.
