Introduction: Whistletunes handles all things piano. I offer piano tuning and repair; I am a pianist for weddings, parties, and functions. Also, piano lessons are available. I am a trained classical pianist who can play 2 hours of classical music from memory, and lots more if I have my music. I have recently opened a business for piano tuning service and repair. My fee for tuning is $60.00 a piano; repair work and rebuilding will be assessed when I see the instrument. Rates for performing vary depending on the function, and for lessons, I charge $15.00 an hour. I always play several things on a piano after tuning, so I can tweak what needs to be tweaked. I use an electronic tuner for finding the middle section, then do the rest by ear. No machine can find the irregularities distinct to each piano, and no tuner who relies on electronics can bring the proper voice to your instrument. For all things piano, that's me.
