Javier was great. He got the paint for me, came in, did the job I originally asked for and then did a couple other things that I hadn't initially asked for and gave me a good deal on the price.
The drywall is repaired well and he painted over it so it looks like it never even happened.
10 out of 10, would recommend!

Javier Ramirez is an outstanding handyman who takes pride in his work, with deep knowledge in his craft. He and his crew at Superior Services can handle it all:
- from smaller, one-man repairs and installations, like the first few projects he did for me,
- to larger projects like the complete renovation he and his crew ended up making to my 40-year old condo.
Javier and his Superior Services crew have the skills expected of a good “general” handyman. Reliable, reasonably priced, showed up on time, gave great service, managed time well, and were friendly, courteous and respectful of my time, belongings, and work environment. As a general contractor and manager, Javier was proactive, with great communication skills, and provided a clear written contract with options, and worked with a subcontractor who installed new quartz countertops. I was involved in the decision-making process. The contract was broken down by task, with a detailed description of each task and pricing.
If you are looking for a general handyman, Javier is just the person you need. I first met him when he responded to a request I submitted on Thumbtack for someone to repair the drywall in a bedroom closet; sand, prime, and paint the closet; and install a modular closet system. Over the phone, we discussed the project, and the fixed price he quoted was very reasonable. We set a work date, and Javier arrived on time, worked neatly and efficiently, and cleaned up after himself. The finished closet exceeded my expectations and was simply stunning.
I was so thrilled that I hired Javier for additional work over the coming months. As a retiree, I was available whenever Javier could work me into his schedule at Superior Services. He personally performed these additional jobs for me.
Making over the master bedroom closet (repair drywall, paint, hang closet pieces)
Repairing drywall in the laundry room; sanding, priming, and painting; hanging a cabinet for laundry supplies – and of course, moving the laundry machines out and back again
Repairing drywall in an outside storage closet, sanding, priming, and painting; and installing a new light fixture.
During these jobs, I got to know Javier; he’s very personable. During our chats, I realized that his skillset, combined with the crew he employs at Superior Services, made him just the person I needed to manage a complete renovation of my condo. In the couple years since moving here, I had kept a list of repairs and improvements I wanted to make. What held me back was feeling out of my depth. I had never attempted such a large project in over 30 years of home ownership, and I was doubtful of finding a reliable general contractor to oversee the job. Suddenly I realized that Javier was perfect for the job. Plus, he wasn’t an “unknown” entity but had already proven his abilities. All that remained for me to do was show him my “wish list” and take it from there.

Javier Ramirez did a fabulous job preparing the closet walls, then hanging the modular cabinets I had assembled. The walls in the spare room closet had seen better days, especially after the wire closet system was removed. My condo was built in the 1980s, and the wire shelving may have been the closet system. My husband and I had removed the wire shelving, which had been secured with very long drywall screws plus 🏏nails. Javier patched the drywall, sanded and painted the closet, then hung the modular units. He was courteous, friendly, worked efficiently, and cleaned up thoroughly. I am delighted with the results, and plan to contact Javier for future projects. I recommend you consider him for your projects; you won’t be disappointed!
