About
Capturing moments, faces and spaces is my passion! I live in central North Carolina with my wonderful husband, son and 2 rescue dogs.
I have always enjoyed taking photos and I recently started using my talent to photograph dogs for a local rescue. It was amazing to see how quality photos of the rescue dogs helped to get them noticed and then find their furever homes. Although I continue to photograph rescue dogs, I also enjoy capturing family moments , portraits, and pet sessions.

Our experience with Rachel of Orrdinary Photography was amazing. She was so responsive when I contacted her to set up the shoot. She worked around my schedule with no problem. She had very reasonable pricing and flexible ways to transfer pictures and payment options. It rained heavily until 30 minutes before our shoot and Rachel ordered to change our one hit when we couldn’t, she brought towels and plastic and such to help with the wet ground. We had 4 kids ages 4 mos, 18 mos, 5 years a d 9 years. Rachel was simply awesome. She was so so patient and worked so well with them. She never gave up on getting a shot. She had toys and tricks to redirect their attention and had such maturity to know how to bring them back into the shot without frustrating them. She never looked at her watch or made us feel rushed. ( did go overtime an yet she did t ask for extra pay, I did pay her extra anyway because she was so so good. I would highly highly highly recommend Orrdinary life Phoography for all your photography needs. We love love love our photos seen below and can’t wait to get all our finals. Thanks Rachel for caring about our family and helping us capture these once in a lifetime moments!!!

Rachel is absolutely AMAZING!
The day of my shoot did not go well for me. My hair and makeup up were not what I wanted and caused me to be late to my shoot. Rachel helped me with getting the make up off before the shoot which delayed it even more. And even tho we were delayed she didn’t rush the shoot, she was so sweet and easy to work with. Days before my shoot she even drove around to find cute places for the shoot, talk about going above and beyond! The photos are great and just what I was looking for. I will definitely use her again when I need photos done.

My sister is very talented! She has taken many pictures for us through the years and we have enjoyed looking at them! The latest pictures were taken in a field in the fall which were fantastic!
