- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We will work with a variety of budgets however we use high quality farm fresh ingredients and organic when available. In addition we are a scratch made caterer beyond dry ingredients you will not see canned goods or items from a jar unless we preserved or pickled it ourselves. As such the cost of our per person menu pricing may be higher than others but our quality is unmatched and you will taste the difference!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Chef Amelia Irene will provide a free consultation with all clients that we serve and obtain as many details regarding your event as possible before providing a quote of our services. We will prepare a quote with recommendations based on the needs of the client and determine if there are other services that can be provided including decor, planning and/or coordination of your event. We offer a tasting for all clients prior to the event and make any changes before finalizing the proposal and contract. We execute every detail to ensure a seamless affair. We are there from the invitation to the thank you card and all the details in between. Our approach to catering and event design is holistic to ensure we leave lasting impressions and create experiences that enhance mind, body and spirit.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute Chef Training Program in New York, NY. Long before attending culinary school I began cooking at a young age and by 11 my household chore was cooking family dinner after school. Culinary Arts and entertaining are lifelong passions. For over 15 years I have trained and worked in a variety of capacities in weddings and special events including floral design, invitation and letterpress design, planning and catering. The kitchen is my first love and I have chosen to now focus on catering and event design which enables me to utilize all of the tools in my tool chest to execute memorable affairs when your life's journey requires celebration!
