Introduction: Weddings and special events are a wonderful opportunity for clients to express themselves, and make a statement. I get great satisfaction in guiding and helping them design a beautiful event. Most important to me though, it is 'their' event, and I want everything to reflect that. The pure excitement in my clients eyes, during the planning process when little by little their 'vision' becomes reality. And especially when they see the finished product on the 'day of'.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been doing interior design for years and a dear friend asked if I would help with her wedding. It was such a wonderful experience. I received lovely compliments from the guests, as well as the vendors. So, I thought I'd give it a try! Glad I did!!
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
On October 4th, the wedding I have been consulting on will take place. I'm very prepared; we stayed on schedule and gave ourselves ample time to handle everything. Getting things accomplished early is key. My goal is for my Bride or Host to have 2-3 weeks to relax and regroup before the big day. If something unforseen does surprise us, we handle it calmly and timely.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be totally honest!! I love to brainstorm, and if a client doesn't like a suggestion I make, it's fine!!!! My feelings won't be hurt. You'll save time and money, if we 'keep it real'! ;)
