- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically, my fees start at $130 - $150 and then go up from there depending on the complexity of the return. For example, owning your own business or having a rental property will increase the cost of the return. Those type of returns are typically more in the $225 range.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will set up a time to talk with you on the phone or meet you in person, your choice, and will review your tax needs with you in a very low pressure type of setting. I want to learn as much as possible so that I can do more for you than just entering numbers. By getting to know my clients personally it clues me in to possible deductions for them that other preparers may miss.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a NC Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and have been preparing tax returns for over 10 years.
