About
My work stands out because of the foundation behind it. I didn't pick up a camera and become a professional within a week. I took the time to earn my degree in photographic technologies and followed that up with a lot of self teaching, online learning, and traveling to take in person classes from some of the best in the industry. I really like to play around with the style of each session and really customize each clients experience for them.
I love the creativity of being a photographer; it really does feel more like play than work. Empowering a woman through a boudoir session or capturing a child's playful smile during a family portrait session are what make my job amazing.
My portrait sessions start at $300, my boudoir start at $450. Portrait sessions are on location in beautiful eastern North Carolina. Boudoir sessions have the option of being on location or in our dedicated boudoir studio.
I do have an assistant with me during all sessions, she's great at helping with lighting among other things.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My sessions start at $300 for portrait sessions and that does include locations up to 50 miles away as well as high resolution images and a gallery app.
My boudoir sessions start at $400 and are the full experience including professional hair and makeup, access to my client closet, the session and an in person image reveal session. I have a studio dedicated to boudoir and offer the option for on location as well.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I work with a new client, I typically meet them the day of their session although I am always up for meeting over coffee in town. When you come in for your boudoir session, you go straight into hair & make up where we chat and get to know each other. After hair & make up, it's time to finalize wardrobe decisions and start posing you head to toe while making jokes the whole time.
For portrait sessions, we start with the more posed images, and get a good variety, and then we move into less posed, more YOU images.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In addition to my degree in Photographic Technologies, I've also attending photography workshops, classes and meet ups to perfect my craft. I spend a lot of time experimenting with new techniques and equipment to really give my clients something a bit more than they can get anywhere else.
