Specializing in Above Ground Pools, hot tubs and pool tables for over 25 years, there isn't much that we haven't seen or dealt with. While we carry a wide selection of pools to fit any need, we see ourselves first and foremost as installation experts. We are happy to help our customers whether they purchase their pools from us, another dealer or online and keep our focus on what best Fits our customer’s needs. By selling our pools at, or close to wholesale prices, we are able to keep a margin that ensures that the installation is done properly without cutting any corners and making sure that our customers are happy with their pool throughout its life. Building things always brings a measure of satisfaction but the true joy comes in seeing excitement and happiness in the customer's (particularly the kids) eyes when we are done.

Fantastic experience with these guys! We are so pleased with the final outcome of our pool. Jeremiah helped us through the entire process to find exactly we we wanted while staying well within our budget. Price was one of our main deciding factors in going with Pools and Above but in hindsight we would have paid more than other quotes we received to ensure we had a company as prompt, professional and helpful. Pool table install was never performed because Jeremiah was injured. I don't blame him for having to cancel, but his communication about the situation could have been better. No idea if he does good work or not, but sounded knowledgeable and was willing to help find a replacement pool table installer, even if it meant not getting his business.

Dealing with this company has been the worst business experience of my life. Pool installation was terrible . . . pool wasn't level, wasn't round and leaked from all the plumbing. Mr. Davis has quite the temper, too. It's been 4 weeks now since the initial install, and I still do now have an operating pool. They reinstalled the pool on July 5 and it is still at least an inch off-level and is still not perfectly round. The kicker is that they glued all the plumbing parts on with sealant when they re-did the pool to avoid any leaks, including the flow director in the up/down position which would not allow any filtering at all. Since they will not stand behind their work, I am having to hire a reputable company to come in and fix their mess, which includes new parts that they ruined by using sealant as glue! Legal action will be pursued. I have this entire process documented in writing and with pictures.

Listening is key! With a variety of sizes and types of pools, not to mention the various options, it's important to be on the same page as the customer in determining what is important to them and how you can provide the most impact for them within their given budget.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Your pool is a substantial investment and should be handled by an organization that has the experience to get the job done right and who has been around for a while so there is an accountability factor. Do your homework! Talk to the professional you are considering doing business with! I'm always amazed when I hear of people that have hired somebody to provide a service for them and have never talked to them in person or on the phone.
