FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Pro Billiardworkz, we believe in honest and upfront pricing with no hidden fees. Pricing varies based on the service requested, table size, distance, and overall condition of the table. General pricing examples: 🎱 Pool table moves start at $500 for local moves (under 50 miles) and include professional disassembly, transport, reassembly, leveling, and setup ready to play. 🎱 Moving + new cloth installation packages typically start around $800, depending on table size and cloth selection. We also offer refelting, restorations, rail work, leveling corrections, and custom service packages. Quotes are provided after gathering details such as: • Location • Table size (7ft / 8ft / 9ft) • Service requested • Photos (when available) We stand behind our work and include a 6-month labor warranty on applicable services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Pro Billiardworkz, our process is focused on making the experience simple, professional, and tailored to each customer’s needs. We begin by gathering details about the project, such as table size, location, and the services requested (moving, re-felting, restoration, assembly, leveling, repairs, etc.). From there, we discuss options including cloth colors, pocket styles, upgrades, and any restoration work the customer may want. Once details are finalized, we provide pricing and schedule the service date. On service day, we complete the work with attention to detail, ensuring the table is properly assembled, leveled, tuned, and ready to play before we leave.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
At Pro Billiardworkz, our experience comes from years of hands-on work and industry knowledge rather than a traditional classroom setting. I have approximately 8 years of experience working with pool and billiard tables, specializing in table moving, assembly, restoration, re-felting, leveling, slate corrections, rail work, and repairs. Over the years, I’ve worked on a wide variety of tables ranging from residential installations to restorations, developing the skills needed to ensure tables are installed and tuned to play properly. This trade requires precision, attention to detail, and an understanding of table mechanics, slate leveling, cloth installation, and playability standards.
