BJ was the first among 15+ agents that I called when I started looking for a house. He was very approachable and would take a question anytime over the phone. You can throw anything at him and he will get an answer for you. He assisted us with homes for sale, new ready to move ins and construction homes. He had his responsibilities as an agent well covered and went above and beyond to help through the process. Very conscientious, professional all the way and me being a new home buyer, he almost helped with every step personally. I would definitely recommend BJ to those looking for a real estate agent (buyers or sellers).

B.J. Doerner provided us with outstanding service! He went above and beyond to make sure the selling process went smooth. I thought living in MD and trying to sell our Charlotte home would be a nightmare, especially since I chose Mr. Doerner blindly and have not had good Realtor experiences in the past. However, from day one B.J. was courteous, professional and patient with us over the phone. He went out of his way to make sure the carpets got cleaned, he hired a cleaning lady for us and found a contractor to fix the downstairs flooring, hired a nice gentleman to cut the grass and coordinated the entire POA process. He literally took care of all the logistics all while keeping us up to date and we were never in the dark about anything going on. Not to mention the services were at a reasonable rate and the contractors were willing to work with us financially. He always responded immediately to our phone messages in the rare instance he was unable to pick up the phone. Even when he seemed incredibly busy, he always picked up the phone, even if just to say he would call us right back. We were on a very tight timeline to get our house sold and managed to make the process quick! I simply cannot say enough good things about this experience with him. He gave us honest opinions, provided his expertise and was genuine in his efforts to sell our home for us and not just because it benefited him. We are beyond grateful. You will not regret doing business with B.J. Doerner!

As a recent Wake Forest grad and first time home buyer, I had absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into. None, whatsoever. After working with BJ, I feel like a real estate expert. As you can imagine I had an excessive amount of questions throughout the process and BJ was there, coaching and teaching me every step of the way. It didn't matter if I had questions at midnight or 8AM on a Sunday morning, BJ would get back to me within a matter of a few hours, most of the time within the same hour. Going through Charlotte, BJ really knew his way around and knew the area which is impressive considering he's just had a couple years in the Charlotte real estate market. Entering the homes, BJ never pressured me to make an offer and never tried to speed up the process so he could make a sale. As I mentioned earlier, he was very patient with me and truly wanted to get an understanding of what it was that I was looking for. I started my search in January while I was still in school and just closed in August. All the while in between I was in NYC, ATL, Minnesota, Las Vegas, and Florida. Even then, BJ was always there, checking in on me, sending me new listings, asking if I needed help with finding the right loan officer, etc. He truly brings the whole package to the table and has a myriad of knowledge in all things real estate.(he also has a person for just about everything, carpeting, carpenters, painters, contractors, furniture, everything!) I would absolutely recommend BJ as either a buyer's or a seller's agent and certainly plan to utilize his expertise when I go to sell my condo in the years to come.

I'm a first time homebuyer and BJ did a TREMENDOUS job of making the buying process as smooth as possible. Communication was terrific, and his knowledge of the industry gave me a lot of confidence. I'm loving my new home and will definitely call on him again when it comes time to upgrade. Highly recommended!

BJ was very responsive and helpful on our home search. Although we were just looking for rental proporty he took the time and effort to show us 4 different homes taking a good portion of his day. i would recommend BJ to anyone looking for property in the greater Charlotte area.
