- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend roofing manufacturers seminars at least once a year to learn about new products coming to the market and to keep up with new trends in the marketplace. It's also very helpful to interact with other contractors from around the country and bounce repair experiences and ideas off each other.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have followed in my fathers footsteps and have always enjoyed working with my hands. I am not the cubicle kind of guy. Much rather be outside in the fresh air working with tools.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do a lot of roof repairs, gutter repairs and rotten wood repairs from window/door trim to siding to fascia. I often find that a customer will find additional repairs for me to fix while I'm on site after they see my work. Even the little repairs that customers often think aren't worth my time.
