- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No hidden fees – All packages include editing time, an online gallery, and high-resolution digital downloads. Travel included – Sessions within the OBX area are included; small travel fees may apply outside this range. Seasonal discounts – I occasionally offer holiday, off-season, or promotional discounts. Ask what’s currently available! Flexible packages – Sessions can be customized based on your needs, time, and group size. Deposit required – A small non-refundable deposit secures your date, with the remaining balance due on session day. Print options available – Prints, albums, and add-on edits are available at an additional cost.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial Inquiry You reach out with the type of session you’re interested in, your preferred date, and any details you’d like me to know. Consultation & Planning I help you choose the right session type, location, and time of day. We go over your vision, style preferences, and any must-have shots. Booking Once everything is set, I send over booking details. Photo Session On the day of your shoot, I guide posing, composition, and lighting to help you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Editing & Retouching After your session, I select the best images and professionally edit them for quality, color, and clarity. Gallery Delivery You receive an online gallery with high-resolution digital downloads. From there, you can choose prints or request any add-on edits. Final Follow-Up I check in to ensure you’re happy with your photos and assist with any additional needs like prints, albums, or future bookings.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’m a self-taught photographer with hands-on experience in portrait, individual and family/group photography. My skills come from practice with working directly with clients across the OBX. I continually train in lighting, composition, and professional editing to ensure every session delivers high-quality, polished results.
