FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer two service options: • Onsite service at your home or business billed hourly, plus a mileage-based travel fee. • Drop-off service at our shop with flat-rate pricing for most repairs. Flat-rate repairs are often the best value because many services require the computer to run scans or updates, and we believe customers shouldn’t be billed hourly while a machine is processing. All pricing is agreed upon up front before work begins, so there are no surprises.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a new customer reaches out, we start by gathering a few details about the device and the issue they are experiencing. This helps us determine the most efficient and cost-effective service option. Next, we recommend one of three service methods depending on the situation: • Remote support for many software-related issues • Onsite service at your home or business • Drop-off service at our office for flat-rate repairs Once we review the problem, we provide an estimate and explain the recommended repair options. No work begins until the customer approves the service. After the repair is completed, we test the device to ensure everything is working properly. All work is backed by a written service warranty.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our technicians stay current with evolving technology through ongoing training provided by industry leaders such as Microsoft, Apple, Dell, HP, and Lenovo. These programs include technical coursework, certification training, manufacturer documentation, and hands-on lab experience. We also attend industry trade shows and participate in professional communities where technicians share knowledge, experiences, and best practices with others across the United States. In addition to formal training, we regularly participate in professional IT forums and technician communities to stay informed about emerging issues, security threats, and advancements in computer repair and system maintenance. This combination of manufacturer training and real-world experience allows us to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of devices efficiently and accurately.
