I hired frank to move my home and also to help me pack. Frank and his crew did a great job. Great prices and great work. Highly recommend giving them a try i know i will use them again.

I feel certain my experience with them was anything but typical but certainly fell way short of my expectations. My moved was schedule for 10am, they arrived at 745pm, that's right, 10 hours later! Reportedly one person called out sick and another reported to work intoxicated, none of these things comforted me as I waited all day, and took off work to accommodate all 3 time changes/delays on their part. What really tipped my hat about it all is after they finished moving me in ten minutes after midnight, they did not have the decency to offer more than $50 off for the inconvenience I had endured all day! Mind you $40 of it is the fuel fee so essentially they "earned" all of what they would have made had they showed up even remotely on time. I was also bothered at how they just went on about their day completing other moves and my appointment got pushed to the back burner literally. They are nice guys, I honestly believe that and again I gather this probably wasn't a typical situation but they are horrible business men. Could I recommend them, yes, but will I, absolutely not nor shall they have my business in the future. The information you probably want to know is how the move itself was, they do work fast so efficiency was not an issue. I have noticed some tears in my couches that were not their before they arrived. I wish I had time to be more mindful while they were moving but it being midnight and all I was tired. I recommend you decline this offer, you'll get what you pay for and that might not be a good thing in their case.

I would like to apologize to you, first and foremost!! With this being Take A Load Off's first time on Thumbtack this was definitely not what I had planned. Take A Load Off was poorly scheduled and very disorganized at that time and I am once again sorry that you had to indure that. I definitely have learned a lot since and strive to do the best.

I wish I could give 10 STARS because Frankie (a.k.a. "my new best friend") and his crew blew my expectations out of the water. They were EXTREMELY professional, called to update me on times, always showed up when they said they would, were exceptionally respectful and careful with our belongings, and went above and BEYOND (i.e. took things to Goodwill for us, picked up things from our storage facility, took trash out for us) to make our move from North Carolina to Arizona as stress-free as possible. Frankie is seriously the hardest working man in the moving industry and has the most positive attitude (SO welcome during the stress of moving). He is experienced at his profession and takes obvious pride in everything he does and in providing the highest level of service. I just can't say enough about the excellent, professional job he and his crew provided and how much we appreciate everything he did for us in this move. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. THANK YOU, FRANKIE AND STAFF!!
