I called Dennis Rood about re keying the locks on my house promptly after purchasing it. The house was a mess due to some remodeling being done at the time. I had 3 door that open to the outside all with dead bolts. He worked diligently as he removed all lock cylinders and from there respective hardware and reassembled them with new/different spool and security pins. He made all to use the same key and made multiple extra keys so that the whole family could have a key. The price was kinda middle of the road but the quality was top notch. He made sure everything was clean and working properly when he was done. He also gave some advice on ways to add additional reinforcement for added security. Overall you couldn't ask for better service at any price.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
45.00 service fee, 20.00 a cylinder to rekey. double sided keyway locks is considered 2 cylinders. 2 keys included. 30 day warranty. 95.00 flat rate for all lockouts. dead bolt and door knob lockout is 125. all other work is based on work needed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I contact customer to find out what they need or want done. I send an estimate. schedule the work and except payment once the work is completed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
certified locksmith and advanced locksmith certifications. Licensed by the state of North Carolina.
