Introduction: Many folks say they can tell my style even though it is so diverse, because they can tell that I spent the TIME with the client to make it a one-of-a-kind unique masterpiece that is customized for that space and their style. I love every aspect of my job and cannot imagine being this satisfied doing anything else. I really have made a living at it consistently since I was 15 years old in 1979. I love everything from the consultation (brain & heart picking!) to the final oohs & ahhs!!!!

My first "professional " experience with Lisa was that of a beginner...I signed up for a paint night she was teaching. (I am Not an artist ) My strength in art is that I know how to appreciate art. I have followed her artistic talents here in the area, whether it is a painting,signage on a building or a complete makeover at a business or home. I hope to one day have one of her originals hanging in my home. Lisa is not one of those quiet sulky artist, just the opposite ....when she walks in, her smile and positive attitude can change the mood of a room almost instantly. She is a lover of art and of people. That alone would be a great reason to have her in your circle.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing system is extremely simple. $50/hour & our days are normally 10 hours painting time from set-up to clean-up so we typically say $500/day. That includes all consultation, research & business dealings - all of which is done outside the 10 hours. Most of our jobs are done in 1-3 days.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Every time I'm asked to do something I've never done before, i say, "YES! ABSOLUTELY!" lol Then I do all the research needed to achieve it. Videos, books, experts, classes - watever it takes. & we are pretty diverse.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I showed my talent very, very young, and one day when I was 15, my Dad encouraged me to go outside the ice cream store where we were eating and the 80-year=old man who was painting the windows for Christmas, if he needed any help. While I argued I was too shy & he probably didn't want or need any help, my little brother went out there & bragged on me to the point he had to come in & check me out. LOL! So I was ganged up on & man, am I thankful The rest is history! I asked him every question I could & after the season I started on my own with my box of paints on the city bus as a latch-key kid in the San Francisco Bay Area.
