FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I quote most common jobs at a flat rate, so you know the cost before I start. Materials are billed at cost plus a small markup, or you're welcome to supply your own. I'll always confirm pricing with you before starting any work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a quick call or message to understand what needs fixing and get a sense of scope. For straightforward jobs, I can often give you a firm price right away. For anything less predictable, I'll come take a look in person and give you a clear quote before any work begins — no surprises once I'm on site. Once we agree on the plan, I schedule the visit, do the work, and walk you through everything before I leave.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Before starting Will Do Handyman Co., I spent 8 year doing commercial work setting up staging and buildouts for retail stores — hands-on experience with carpentry, assembly, fixtures, and getting spaces ready fast and to spec. That background translates directly into the kind of precise, efficient work I now bring to home repairs and installs.
