FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
To maintain your ACC, PCC or MCC, you must take 40 hours of continuing education over a 3 year period to keep your designation current. Most coaches are naturally curious. Many sponsor SIG (Special Interest Groups) or create small Group Coaching opportunities for professionals with similar issues or concerns to thrive. This is often done for a 2-3 month period.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with professionals to clarify their next steps in their work or personal lives and I challenge and support their belief systems to have them move forward. We co-create Action Plans for the next steps that the client wants to take--whether it's tackling a challenge as big as an elephant or as small as a decision that must be made.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Interview at least three coaches to find compatibility. Know too that coaches are certified through the International Coach Federation (coachfederation.org) at the entry level (ACC or Associate Certified Coach), mid-level (PCC or Professional Certified Coach) and advanced level (Master Certified Coach)
