Introduction: There a few things that I love about my job. I love fixing things and working with my hands and this job allows me to do what I love. I also love helping others and take pride in my work, so it makes me feel good to see a satisfy customer. I love the flexibility of being able to work my job around my personal life by being able to set my own schedule. I also love being my own boss and having no one to answer to which gives me job security as long as I have customers.

Chester has done many jobs in the past for me. I am very proud of his work. Automotive mechanic work, carpentary work, repairing electronic equipment.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

Every job I ever had never paid enough to support my family so I decided to do this as a side job to help bring in extra money. The more jobs I did I realized that this is what I would love to eventually do full time. I love fixing things and working with my hands and love the freedom of being your own boss so I figured what better way to earn a living then to be my own boss.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

As an all-a-round handyman I do a variety of types of jobs for my clients, but the most common requests I get from clients are jobs for home repairs, yard work, hauling (debris, trash, furniture, etc...), and small mechanical work on vehicles.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The most important advice I have for a customer looking for a handyman/independent contractor is to always do your research before you make any decisions. Depending on the type of work you want to have done these projects can already be very expensive and time consuming as it is so you want to make sure it is done right the first time by someone who knows what they are doing. There are usually clues to let you know which companies are out for a quick buck or really care about the customer. How high are their prices compared to other businesses? Do they take the time to explain things to you and let you put your input in or do they try to tell you what needs to be done and hurry up and do it?
