- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do follow a standard pricing system for my initial quote. The final quote can fluctuate slightly from this depending on yard setup and client requests. For lawn care, the initial quote is per cut and based on yard size: Small Yards $35, Medium Yards $45, Large Yards $55 and Very Large Yards $75. First time cuts on tall (1 foot or higher) may require multiple passes with a mower and therefore may have a higher estimated price. For tractor work I charge $50 an hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I give an estimated quote based off of the information they provide. The next step is to meet at the job site for a walk through and to discuss the clients wants and needs. Once the walk through has been completed I give the client an official quote for the services they are requesting. Feedback is always desired. I like having an open line of communication with clients to ensure we meet their wants and needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Nine years in the Army taught me a strong work ethic. Working on my Uncle's cattle farm taught me my way around tractors and other equipment. Working with a larger lawn care/landscaping company taught me how to combine these skills to provide a high quality service to my clients. I am currently working toward obtaining my NC Landscaping Contractor Licensure.
