Lori was very patient and provided excellent guidance during my lesson. I was a bit nervous as the first and last time I rode a horse was once 40 years ago, Lori stayed close during the tack/untack and riding to ensure I was ok.
I have boarded my horse at Renaissance Farm for years, I love the care and training he gets. Renie was both trainer and mentor to both of my daughters (starting when they were only lesson students and continuing after they got their own horses). Renie was my trainer originally and I currently take lessons with Tori . Both are strong trainers willing to work with my horse and I as we build a partnership
Jeff and the instructors at Three Cedars are very knowledgable and passionate about Natural Horsemanship. They practice it everyday in everything they do. Three Cedars is a wonderful place to take lessons and learn all aspects of a horse, more than just riding. They teach you all aspects of a horse, from hoof up. If you want a place that is comfortable and very relaxed to learn about horses and country life, stop by Three Cedars and check it out!
I have been riding at Foothills for over 10 years now. I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of care given to the horses nor the quality of instruction given to the riders. There is something for everyone with a passion for horses, all ages, levels and disciplines!
There's no need to whisper; love them where they're at.
Journeys End Training Center (JETC) is a privately owned full-service equine training and boarding facility located in Davie County, North Carolina.
We provide professional off-track training on a 5/8-mile oval for thorough-bred and quarter racehorses. We also re-train the problem horses, rehabilitate retired racehorses and also provide hunter and jumper training. Our training is based on patience, consistency and having a clear understanding and communication with the horse. We train to earn respect and believe in starting young horses with a solid foundation. Our training is for those who desire their young horse to start with trust and friendship and their delinquent horses to be renewed to a new level of trust and respect.
Clients are also welcome anytime and encouraged to participate. If local, we do ask that clients attend the last 30 days of training as much as possible so we can put the client with their horse. At Journeys End Training Center, we take pride in our results and guarantee our work.
Journeys End Training Center can also provide quality lay ups and rehabilitation care.
We provide boarding, training, and riding lessons for ages 3 and up. We are focused on quality, not the quantity. We cater to the needs of you and/or your horse to provide the best experience possible. From the trails to the show ring, our barn family is the best place to be!
We provide training, lessons, and clinics for all levels of riders, i.e., problem solving, general horsemanship, halter, showmanship at halter, Western pleasure, hunter under saddle, and hunt seat equitation.
I am one of the few in our area that offers training and teaching for trail pleasure and trail competition. I have an obstacle arena and on-site trails for training and learning that are safe for students. I spend extra time with the less confident rider helping them overcome their fears and walking them through the process.
