- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to lay out all the details (and info) about the services we provide right on the table!! Immediately following an inquiry, I kindly request a bride’s email, so I can send them all of our detailed pricing, contract to look over, and no obligation Bridal Questionnaire to fill out. That way, I can get to know the bride and her needs better, and she can get to know Love n’ Glow. :) Once the bridal questionnaire is filled out, the next step would be to schedule a trial makeup through Emily. This is scheduled, and is done on location or at Emily's home! All the details of the bride’s dream makeup can be customized to perfection through the trial session.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I went to school for Esthetology (skincare and makeup) almost 11 years ago, and discovered how much I love helping people look and feel beautiful.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
As far as weddings go, pinterest and Instagram are great tools to search for bridal makeup tips and looks that you might be interested in!! Also, when you know your budget and how many bridesmaids, it will be easier to find a makeup artist who is within a similar price range.
