Introduction: Maverick Mechanical is Owned and Operated By Jordy Brandt. Jordy Is a Licensed Contractor with both the North Carolina Mechanical and Electrical State Boards. A Graduate of North Carolina State University as well as a United States Army Veteran as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technican where he supported 3rd Special Forces Group in Afghanistan. Our Mission at Maverick Mechanical is to provide our clients with a wide range of services for all their HVAC and Indoor Air Quality needs. The Name "Maverick" comes from Jordy's beloved Black Lab who embodied the traits that Maverick Mechanical aims to be: Loyal, Dependable, Friendly and Trustworthy. "No Ones Cooler" Than Mav and Maverick Mechanical.

After getting a call from, Jordy of Maverick Mechanical, I explained my situation of having someone install a new unit I was ordering. Jordy said he would have to look at the unit I have at present, and that he could come out the following day.
He arrived as scheduled, we greeted and he explain more of his Company and skill set, that made me feel comfortable in his ability and providing me a strait answer to the job at hand. I was still waiting on my order shipment confirmation, for the 4-ton heat pump and elec. furnace unit with coil unit. After Jordy looked everything over on the present unit, turns out I had a 3-ton unit and I would be over sizing for the needs of the home.
I was able to cancel the order and he was able to get the right size set-up and installation at a more than a fair price. He ordered the materials needed on a Monday and had his crew install on Wed. per scheduled of my choice. The installation crew were vary professional in their work (keep area clean as they worked and worked together well). The installation went smoothly, the end results is vary pleasing. Jordy came out the next day to check the working of the new unit, he made some minor adjustment to the fan speed setting, some adjustment to the return louvers and setup thermostat to my needs and showed me where to make changes when I needed.

Three months in we are very satisfied with the quality of install and reliability of the heat pump we had installed by maverick mechanical. Their team is both responsive and easy to reach if any questions come up. We have also been satisfied with the post install seasonal service program. We will be using them for any future HVAC related work as their prices are fair, and they are a both a local and veteran owned small business.
