I have purchased two separate Cummins home standby generators from Lake James. They work really well and I have been pleased. They were very knowledgeable and easy to contact throughout the process.I also had a separate unrelated electrical issue that I thought might be an emergency. They had someone at my house within an hour and had me fixed the same day.I highly recommend them.

Friendly and professional people. We enjoyed having the estimator in our house. Instalation of our new Genarac was flawless. Hunter and Matt were very good at their work. I was amazed at how fast they got the job done. They were very good at explaining everything I needed to know about the new Genarac. I will always use Lake James Electric for all my power needs.

Lake James Electric installed our generac several years ago. They monitor its performance and come yearly to service it. I always get a reminder about the service, it is scheduled to fit our calendar and I get a message that shows me the technician and tells me the time of arrival. The technicians have always friendly and knowledgeable. I have nothing but the highes praise for everyone I have worked with at Lake James Electric and highly recommend them if you need a generator installed or serviced.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our goal is to ensure any and all questions customer have are answered. We prefer to do an onsite initial visit to walk through your needs! At that visit, we will build an estimate and either do the work same day, or come back to complete the work for you as soon as possible!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our technicians are Generac certified and complete continuing education to ensure they are up to date on all generator and electrical related topics!
