I am an insured and bonded pet sitter who is very reliable and honest. I will take care of your pets at your home. Please see my website for available services, rates and testimonials. A 30 minute visit is $25 and includes dispensing of medication, if needed. There is a $25 charge for the Meet & Greet. Acceptable payment methods are cash or check.

Melissa has been caring for my Shiba Inu puppy, Bella, since she was 11 weeks old and does an excellent job. She walks Bella twice a day, five days a week, consistently, and has provided ad hoc services upon request with little notice when needed. Melissa goes above and beyond, attending to all of Bella's needs including playing fetch, feeding her, brushing her coat, etc. Since I was new to raising a puppy, Melissa assisted with basic commands, leash walking, and jumping. Most importantly, Melissa truly loves Bella and Bella loves her. This is not something just anyone can provide for your pet. Her ability to connect with animals and her level of compassion is rare and a tremendous asset to you and your pet.

Melissa has been looking after our fur babies when we go out of town and she is a dream to deal with. Professional, loves the dogs, strong work ethics and we feel secure our dogs will get looked after well when we are away for a couple of days. So glad we found her!

My rates are comparable to others in my area. Some holidays are an additional $5 per visit.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All new clients get a Meet & Greet before I start service. This enables the client to learn about me, gather information, interact with the pet and be sure all parties feel comfortable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I aim to educate myself by reading material written by respectable individuals in their field, as well as taking online courses.
