I'm Michael Stephenson. Since moving to North Carolina in 2004 and growing up in Chapel Hill, I’ve recently relocated to Morrisville, NC to better serve my customers across the Triangle area. My journey in home improvement began in 2013 when I learned how to build a house from the ground up. Since then, I've been perfecting my craft and expanding my expertise.
While I specialize in exterior rot repair, trim installation, and drywall repair, my skill set covers a broad range of services, including appliance installation, lighting and ceiling fan replacement, plumbing, deck replacement, painting, and full interior renovations.

Michael is amazing! We had an unexpected leak in our laundry closet which led to water seeping under the floor boards of our kitchen. Michael pulled up the flooring and restored our floor. Michael was great to work with! This is my first experience with Thumbtack and I was not disappointed. Michael is a very courteous professional who took the time to explain the situation with my fan electrical box. He rectified the issue without any fuss, installed my fans and handled a couple other tasks around the house. How did you get started doing this type of work?
In 2013 a guy hired me as an apprentice and we built a passive solar home for him, his wife, and their newborn daughter. When I arrived the only thing there was a foundation. We worked together for 4 months and I got to learn every facet of the building process.
