Introduction

I graduated magna cum laude from East Carolina University with a 3.78 GPA. I earned my Bachelor's in Education as well as a K-12 reading licensure. I cater to the needs of my students and make sure the learning is geared for their success. I take personal time to make sure they understand required ojectives. I love to see the student's faces light up when they are enjoying what they are learning and understand the concepts. I enjoy each day when they walk through the door ready to learn and happy to see me.

Teaching is a very rewarding career if the passion is there. But what a lot of people don't know and usually assume is that being a teacher is an "easy" job. It is not. Teaching requries constant reflection, professional development, and preparation each day. You are working with a class of students who are on different levels, but having to learn the same things. Its a challenge to be able to meet all their needs within in the same classroom and stay on track with the concepts they need to know before EOGs.
