About

Background: I have a performance certificate in Musical Theatre from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City as well as a Bachelors in Voice from Valdosta State University. I became a member of NC NATS (National association for Teachers of Singing) in 2015. I have been teaching private voice and acting lessons since 2013. I'm commited to helping students achieve their goals; whether they be to have a few knock out kareoke songs, be lead singer of a garage band, get the lead in the high school musical, or get into college for music or musical theatre. Lessons begin at age 10 and continue through adult. I teach 30, 45, or 60 minute lessons depending on age and vocal development. I offer optional performing opportunities as well as audition prep for outside endeavours. I love seeing students grow. Whether is being able to hold out a note a few beats longer than last week, or major vocal breakthroughs, every improvement is a cause for celebration.

My daughter is going to Keeley for an audition for college and it's only been two weeks. I am not a professional but I can definitely tell a difference in this short time. My daughter is use to singing in a choir and not solo but she is enjoying her lessons!

My 11 yr old daughter who never sung before was given a solo to sing three weeks before the performance date. Keeley squeezed us into her schedule. In the three weeks Keeley did a great job getting my daughter prepared and boosting her confidence.My daughter loved her saying,"she was fun and energetic." Her pricing was very fair. Just an FYI-parents can't sit in on lesson and she has cats.

At the beginning of this school year I was shy, unconfident, and an overall scaredy cat. I was, of course, not content with this existence so I took my friends advice and started classes with Keely. At the start I was shy and kind of timid around her, but as the year progressed I got to know her more and my fear started to melt away. By Christmas I was pretty comfortable "acting" in front of her and the class. This led to some progression for me outside of class as well because I began to gain some confidence in my abilities. My stutter is almost completely non-existent now, for I used to stutter during class presentations at school, and I can stand up for myself. I am not completely through the transition just yet, but overall this class has helped me find my voice and begin to nurture it. Thank you Keely.
